Luke’s proposal was inspired by his grandfather’s incredible West Michigan farmland. One summer evening, Luke and Jessica went on a casual walk through the property. They wandered along the cornfield, soaking in the beauty of the warm July evening. Eventually, came upon a wooded area at the edge of the cornfield. Here there was a trail that led way into the woods. At the end of this trail, Jessica saw a sign that read “Come with Me, the Best is Yet to Be.”

“I did not know he had purchased the ring a few months before. He told me it was so hard to keep it a secret from me, but he felt like he had to do a romantic proposal.”

And romantic it was! As they entered the woods, Jessica was in for an even more romantic surprise. Hanging from trees were pictures of Luke and Jessica from over the past three years.

As they continued deeper into the woods, Luke had lit a path leading the way to their perfect proposal site. A beautiful tree stood before Luke and Jessica, completely lit up with white lights. And beneath the tree, there were mason jars arranged in the shape of a heart. Together, the couple walked into the center of the heart, where Luke got down on one knee.

“I said yes to the man of my dreams!”
